Non-Resident Training Materials The following links provide outlines and training material for California non-resident licensees. Training Outlines Non-California resident licensees are not exempt from the training required below.  To locate a long-term care or an annuity course, please review the Education Provider and Course Search web page.


Long Term Care Outline [in pdf format*] For California non-resident life agents who sell long term care California Insurance Code Section 10234.93 (4)(C) states, in part, that California nonresident licensees that are not otherwise subject to Section 1749.3 are required to complete training filed and approved by the commissioner as provided in subdivision (g) of Section 1749.4. 2004 Long Term Care Outline - Revised on 1/12/2004 2004 Long Term Care Outline, Attachment I 2004 Long Term Care Outline, Attachment II


Annuity Training Outline [in pdf format*] For California non-resident life agents who sell annuities California Insurance Code Section 1749.8 (a) and (b) states, in part, that every life agent (California resident or non-resident) who sells or solicits annuity products are required to complete training filed and approved by the commissioner as provided in subdivision (g) of Section 1749.4.

Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster Regulations - Claims Adjuster and Medical Bill Reviewer Training Requirements On or before July 1, all insurers are to certify annually to the Commissioner that they have met the minimum standards of training and/or experience stated in the Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster Regulations for all claims adjusters and medical bill reviewers.
